no place like home

I am finally going home,

Well, not home exactly but the closest I've ever known.

Fly out on the 22nd,

Just in time for the Christmas Weekend.

Have made plans to meet everyone,

Lunches, dinners, Parties basically a lot of fun.

Have even made a shopping list,

Just to make sure there's no one I missed.

Gonna spend quality time with family,

Cuz somehow it's just dawned on me,

That wherever I am, I'm always alone,

That is of course until I come back home.

what would you like to eat

BBQ beef and homemade paneer,

Nasi lemak to delicious kheer,

Spaghetti, pasta and pizza,

Siew laap to yum cha,

Deep fried sea food to spicy laksa,

Tandoori chicken and aloo parata,

Eggs and bacon with toast,

Peking duck and pork roast.

Fish Noodle Soup and exotic curry,

Rib eye steak and Hyderbadi biryani,

Satay chicken and tangy wasabi,

Any cuisine will do for me.

Anything, any time, any place will do,

To grab a quick bite or maybe even two,

There is nothing better in life, I feel,

Than to dig into a nice tasty meal.
